Taking hands-on education and the arts to the streets.  We believe that Environment Based Education should be a way of life and that hands-on learning through adventure, rich living books, and a love for the arts is quickly becoming extinct.  Recent studies show that by integrating an outdoor inquiry-based education model into all forms of learning, we can help our children develop critical thinking skills, become better problem solvers, learn “deep” content knowledge, gain an appreciation for their surroundings, establish life skills, develop a love of learning, foster passion based futures in the workforce, and become more environmentally literate citizens. Because we believe every child deserves this lifestyle of education, we have rallied to mobilize Outsiders in an effort to bring this unique and innovative approach to education, healthy food, leadership development, and mentorship to our own streets.
